Vaping is everywhere in schools—kids are doing it in bathrooms, hallways, even sneaking it in class. They think it’s harmless, cool, and their choice, but we’re sitting on a problem that’s only getting bigger. We’ve got data showing teen vaping’s spiked—CDC says over 20% of high schoolers vaped in 2023, and it’s not slowing down. Our kids are getting hooked on nicotine, which harms their brains—attention, memory, impulse control—and we all know that this tanks grades and behavior. Plus, some of these vape chemicals are nasty; we’re talking lung damage down the line. This isn’t just a ‘them’ problem—it’s ours.
A proactive program isn’t about reacting after the fact—it’s about getting ahead of it. Strict rules and enforcement, like vape detectors and real consequences, are not enough. We need to flip the script—make vaping uncool. Bring in education that sticks—we show students, convincingly how they’re pawns for big vape companies, how much cash they’re wasting, and how addiction’s not freedom.
Cut vaping rates to almost nothing. A vape free school is possible.
If we don’t act now, we’re risking more kids being addicted, with more health issues, and honestly, it’s just a matter of time before parents and the community will start asking why something wasn’t done sooner. This isn’t just about rules—it’s about the future and our responsibility.
Funding through grants is available—tons of anti-vaping money is sitting there!
Vape Impact is an eye-opener for any young person. If life is a game, then big tobacco and vaping companies try to rig the game against you. From nicotine addiction to a cancer diagnosis, it all comes down to making a dollar to the consumer's detriment. Tobacco, nicotine, and vaping is a risk to public health.
In this ever-changing world, we have seen a shift from traditional cigarettes and tobacco products to vape pens and e-cigarettes. With various flavors and features to attract young consumers, it's unsurprising to see them rise in popularity. As a result, we update our course to include the risks associated with vaping and discourage young people from partaking in this activity.
This online course aims to raise awareness and help educate youth about the harmful effects of vaping, tobacco, and nicotine. Course includes educational resources for nicotine, tobacco, and vaping awareness and prevention.
